Hagg Bank Bridge

Hagg Bank Bridge crossing the River Tyne at Wylam. It was built by the Scotswood, Newburn and Wylam Railway Company in 1876 and joined the main Newcastle and Carlisle Railway (which can just be seen at the bottom of the photo) at Wylam West Junction. The line was closed in 1968 and is now part of Hadrian's Cycleway (NCN72).
