In more typical October weather than we've had for the last few days, an East Coast HST passes alongside a foggy River Tyne at Hagg Bank, Wylam, with 1E23 1147 Aberdeen - London Kings Cross. Due to engineering works on the East Coast, trains were running via Carlisle and the Tyne Valley.
Hagg Bank bridge is visible in the background which carried the North Wylam line over the river.
